Kerecsend Malompark - The Mill

The Kerecsend Mill has been build at the turn of the XX. century, and not long ago has been completely rebuilt and it hosts cultural, educational, children programs throughout the whole year. It is situated in the center if the small town, which is a 5 minutes drive away from the city of Eger and Egerszalók. The area is famous for its vinyards, tasty vine and historical sites. Also nearby thermal baths can be found and we will visit the one in Demjén during the festival. (see schedule)

Kerecsend is about 120 km away from the center of Budapest and you can take a direct bus from Stadionok National Bus station at the Stadinonok Metro line 2 station. See website for timetable of the bus (1050).

Participation
You can take part of the whole festival, there is no possibility to join one or two classes. (See schedule). In case you arrive later or have to leave earlier please contact us.


Children
The festival in Kerecsend welcomes families and if needed childcare, program for children can be organized. If you do bring your children with you, please write how many and what age the kids are on the registration form. We will contact you about the costs of accommodation, food and program possibilities.


Registration
To register for the Kerecsend Festival program, you have to fill out the Registration form Kerecsend. On the form you have to choose one of the two intensives (Tom Pritchard or Aliki Dourmazer) where it is indicated. All other programs can be visited without preregistration.

Your registration is complete and your place is garanteed of you fill out the form and send us either the full Kerecsend festival fee or the non-refundable registration fee of 100€, or send us your travel documents. See payment details!

Registered and paid before the 15th of May: 270€
Registered and paid after the 15th of May: 310€
Registration fee (non-refundable): 100€

The Kerecsend festival fee includes all programs, once the entry to the Demjén Thermal bath and the 5 night accommodation and the meals 3 times a day.

Please be sure to enter the amount in Euro (€). We kindly ask you to cover PayPal's money transfer fee, it helps the Festival organization save money - there's usually an 'I will pay the fee' option you can select. Thanks.

You can also pay the Kerecsend Festival fee at your arrival on the 23rd of June at Kerecsend, if you send us the copy of your travel documents (flight booking details, or copy of your train / bus ticket!)

Attention!
Look out for the date of your registration. In order to pay the reduced festival fee, you have to send us either the full fee, or the regsitration cost, or send us your travel document BEFORE THE 15TH OF MAY!

Cancellation:
In case you have to cancel your participation and you have paid the Kerecsend festival fee, and your cancellation has been sent to us until 2 weeks prior to the begining of the festival, we can return your payment with deducting the non-refundable registration fee. The whole amount can be returned to you in case you bring another participant to the festival to replace you.

If your cancellation has been sent to us within two weeks before the festival, the only way to get your payment back is to bring someone to your place.


Accommodation
You are going to sleep in 5 bed rooms, or in Jurta tents, or in the studio of the Mill. There will be mat and beddings provided, but bring towels and all extra you need. At arrival you will be taken around the Mill and can choose your place.


Food
There will be meal possibilities with meat, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free. Please indicate your diet or allergies on the registration form.
